2005 Graduate
Lindsay Sakal Dennis is a 2005 MHS grad, and the first recipient of the Bennie Raine Scholarship. She is currently teaching English II in the Shawnee Public School System.
1975 Graduate
Jeannie Capps Taylor is a 1975 grad, and before her recent retirement, was a counselor at Westmoore and Southmoore High Schools.
2000/1976
Jackie Simpson Johnson is a 1976 grad, Jackie owned a bakery in Homer, Alaska before returning to the lower 48 to be a leader in the home healthcare field in the Dallas, TX area. While in Homer, her story was filmed by a 2000 MHS grad, Kari Barber. Their short film, Baking Alaska, has won many awards. Kari is now an Associate Professor of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno, and continues to write, produce and direct award winning documentaries.
Two Generations of MHS Grads
Celinda and Jerry Ferguson are both 1960 grads. Celinda taught in the Moore School system for many years. Their daughter, Kim, is a 1986 grad and her husband, Jon Painter, is a 1984 grad. Jon is an optometrist in Moore.
