How You Can Help?

Become involved!  We consider all our fellow classmates "members."  Any and all monies received at MHSAA go into projects that directly benefit the students. Whether that is investing in our scholarship program, purchasing benches or picnic tables for the campus, mentoring students, helping athletic departments, or assisting with other specifically ear-marked projects, your dollars go toward helping the students. In that light, we have discontinued our annual dues. From now on, you will notice a DONATION designation on our information that allows you to tell us where you want your dollars applied. We don't bother with an annual payment, but we will be most appreciative anytime you want to support the students through donations.  ANY amount is helpful!

Lifetime Membership status will be noted on our website if you donate $150 or more.

Our mission is to provide scholarships and other benevolent services to deserving Moore High School students.

WHAT WE DO:

  • Provide a minimum of eight annual $1,000 scholarships to deserving seniors.

  • Donate as needed to various school clubs and organizations, athletic teams, school causes, and special occasions.

  • Co-coordinate the annual 5k Moore War Run with the Westmoore High School Alumni Association.

  • Induct worthy MHS alumni into a Wall of Fame annually.

WHAT WE DON’T DO: 

  • Plan individual class reunions.  However, we post reunions on this website if we are informed.  If you are involved in planning your class reunion, please let us know the details.

  • Exclude any school clubs or organizations.

  • Provide any services for other MPS schools.

What does this mean to you as a graduate of Moore High School?  There is a team of people dedicated to making sure our alma mater stays strong and the best high school in Moore.  You can help do this in several ways.

  • Volunteer!  There are a variety of ways to do so. The annual Moore War Run always needs help. It is always at the end of August. We need help at banquets or events we host setting up or cleaning up, planning, PR help, etc.  We usually have an officer and/or board member position available which means more involved help with governing the Association.

  • Donate money!  You can determine what we do with your donation?  Tell us to donate it to band, FFA, debate club, WHATEVER and we will. We purchase items for the school and can always help with that.  The more money in our endowed scholarship funds means we can award more scholarships.  Or you can sponsor the Moore War Run!

  • Support through social media!   Follow us on all of our social media accounts.  Share our posts.
