Established: 1899. The Old School on Broadway was built in 1928. The campus on Eastern Avenue opened fall 1967 with the first graduating class in spring 1968.
Mascot: Lions
Colors: Red, Royal Blue, and White
Yearbook: Timekeeper
School Song: “Moore, Moore, school we all adore. M-O-O-R-E. Red, royal blue, faithful, always true. We’ll be together whatever the weather, Lions and Lionettes, too. [Oh] Moore High, for you we’ll always try and may we bring honor to our school. We’ll always fight, fight, fight for victory. For MHS, we’ll do or die!
Alma Mater: “Mighty Lions stand proud together, with our banners high. Fighting on we falter never. Victory is our cry. Students are united always; never shall we part.
