In 2015, some senior students approached us about helping them improve school spirit at MHS.  Of course we did so! This connected us to current students more than ever before. Now we are more involved with student leadership and newer clubs as well as ones with which we were never associated.

We help with:

  • providing and organizing classic cars for the Homecoming parade, as well as judging floats,

  • assisting with various club and organization events such as NHS inauguration, decorating for sporting events, etc.,

  • and volunteering at student orientation, the annual Thanksgiving dinner, and wherever we might be requested to help!

In 2013, we provided relief to MHS alumni affected by the tornado. We received donations from a number of alums who were part of approximately forty donors. In 2020, after the cross country runners tragedy at MHS, we set up a relief fund within two days of the accident. Due to the amazing goodness and benevolence of over 600 donors, we were able to assist the three victims’ families, the four survivors and the student who was first on the scene. The power of MHS alumni and our community can be very strong!

In addition, we have provided needed items such as

  • books for classes,

  • U.S. and state flags for the school,

  • banners on Eastern,

  • spirit items for the student spirit group,

  • benches and tables in the courtyard.

  • and much more!!

More are needed! Contact us if interested in purchasing as individuals or classes.

We welcome ideas of other ways we can support current MHS students. Monetary donations can be directed to any organization or cause you choose. We can always utilize the help of volunteers in a variety of ways. We often have openings on our board of directors and/or officer positions. Please contact us if you have any interest in taking part!
